Tatum Cape Town

The brief Tatum gave us never changed across two years and four campaigns. She wanted every girl to want to be a Tatum Babe, to wear her product, and feel like she belonged to a community. We recognised early that this was an identity brief, not a product brief, and that distinction shaped everything downstream. So instead of jumping straight to a shoot, we conceptualised and moodboarded every campaign, wrote the narrative, and structured the full rollout before shooting a single frame. We expanded on the world the identity lives in, not just the product that sits inside it.

We let the locations carry the story instead of defaulting to one setting shot four different ways. Kommetjie gave us the wild Atlantic, Yzerfontein the stillness of the West Coast, Kraalbaai the lagoon, and Clifton the home sand at golden hour. Four distinct moods of the same woman, each one expanding what being a Tatum Babe could look and feel like.

Underneath the aesthetic, we built a system. Every production was designed to feed social media, the website, e-commerce, and the lookbook from a single shoot, rather than treating each channel as its own separate production. That is what let each campaign keep selling long after the call sheet closed, across two years and four campaigns without the brief ever needing to change.
