Kunye Records

TGTHR as One

Kunye Records is one of South Africa's most important music institutions, with deep loyalty built inside the global afro house scene through its releases and events. Our first project with the label took us on Gordo's Diamante Tour across Cape Town and Johannesburg, including the first Black Coffee B2B Shimza set in more than a decade, and it set the tone for everything that followed.

How we executed the project

Our first project together took us on Gordo's Diamante Tour across Cape Town and Johannesburg, where we experienced the first Black Coffee B2B Shimza set in more than ten years, and it set the tone for how we scoped everything after. Across 2025, we worked with the marketing team to build Kunye's content direction and identity as a throughline across every show rather than treating each one as a standalone brief.
We developed a full content ecosystem for each show, including promotional content, short-form for socials, recaps, aftermovies, multicams, and stills, built specifically to convert anticipation into attendance.
The distribution of the content helped drive attendance, ticket sales, and on-site expenditure show after show, year after year. By developing a distinct digital and cultural footprint, the label has grown significantly, selling out every show and bringing in bigger international headliners.
